- What is a directory submission? In directory submission a website is listed in an online directory. Dmoz is one of the examples of an open directory.
- What are meta tags? Meta tags are HTML codes that are inserted into the header on a web page. The tags contain a description of the web page and a list of relevant keywords. Meta tags are not visible in browser but they are readable by the search engine.
- What is a spider? A spider is a software that follows links throughout the Internet, grabs content from the websites and adds it to search engine databases.
- How long does it take for my site to get listed after starting the search engine optimization on my site? It depends on which techniques you are using to optimise your website. If you have rebuilt your site, replacing the old files, it might take some more time than normal. Also, it depends on the time that the web crawler is next scheduled to crawl. Some sites take up to 4 to 6 months to get picked up by search engines.
- Why do rankings change? It depends on the change of algorithm of the search engines. Also, it depends on many other factors. If you redesign your website, your rankings may go down for some time and it can come up again with good rankings with the proper efforts in search engine optimization.
- Can I use hidden text to get a top ranking? You should not use hidden text. You may be able to trick the search engines for a brief period of time by hiding keyword stuffed sentences on your page, but you will risk getting your site penalised by the search engines. - How long will it take for my HTML web site to be designed? The timescale of a website design project in most cases depends on the inputs provided for the design by client. If you have the information ready for the website and have finalized the image draft we provided, it doesn’t take more than 2 weeks time to integrate the design.
- Is it possible for you to provide content and images for my website Yes, we can provide content as well as images for your website. We charge nominal fees for this facility.
- In what format should I supply words and photographs for my website design? We require text and images from you in electronic form. The text in MS word or a similar format and images taken from a digital camera or images in GIF or JPEG format. We do not work with any scanned images sent because the quality is too low to make your site look good. If you are re designing the website, we can take the text and images from your old website if proper access provided to the old website.
- What if I do not like the design of the website ? We design an image draft before integrating the website depending on your inputs for website design, we provide facility to request one set of changes if you are not happy with the image draft supplied.
- How much will a website design cost me? The cost of a web site varies depending your requirement of the site and complexity. A small HTML web site with a few static pages would cost less than an ecommerce website with a large number of pages and a CMS system. - What after sales service do you offer once my website design is completed? We provide full support to the websites we design and are available should you encounter any problems or require any enhancements to the website. We also offer web site maintenance so that your website never gets out of date.
- How do I update my website? If you have a small website consisting of a few pages and will only wish to make changes rarely, then usually it is more cost effective simply to ask us to carry out these changes for you. We will update your website with nominal charges.
- Can I have an e-commerce system for my website? Yes you can. An e-commerce website will cost more than a basic HTML website as is more complex. But to have a e-commerce website you will have to accept payment online via a third party payment provider such as PayPal, Worldpay, Protex or whichever third party you wish to use.

- What exactly is "Hosting Space" and “Data Transfer Bandwidth”? "Hosting Space" is the size of the disk space you rent on the web-hosting server. "Data Transfer Bandwidth" is the amount of data that your hosting server will allow your site to send in a month. It is usually measured in Gigabytes. Once you go over your monthly limit, a host may charge you for 'over-usage.' Typical bandwidths provided are 1GB/Month. The over usage is usally charged per MB of extra data
Just because you use Windows on your PC at home or in your office, does not mean you should use Windows hosting. These two are completely different, and having a Windows system at home will not affect your ability to communicate with a UNIX server you have hosted. Linux is much more common with web hosts due to its superior stability.

- How long does the domain registration process take? The application process should only take a few minutes to complete. But this can be done only by authorized registrant. - I have bought my domain with another registrar, can I renew it with you? Yes, you can transfer the domain name to Nhance Web Solutions Ltd and request renewal of the domain name.
- Who owns the domain name once it is registered? You are the owner of the domain name once you have registered it in your name. We are just the registrars who register the domain name on your behalf. We register it in your name. Some companies register the domain name on behalf of the clients but register it on the company’s name which is unethical and illegal. We register it on client’s name, i.e. your name and hence you owe the domain.
